Faces that come out of a wall or a guitar amp, one could think of some sadomasochistic cult, but i have to admit its a kind of therapy about some implant trauma.
On the other hand i´m simply fascinated by the technological and digital possiblity to enhance nd breathe life to an object and to represent it to the viewer like a director his cut.
Inspiration comes from Movies such as SAW as also from Artists like H.R.Giger.
Original Sculptures are not for sale, only some limited digital derivates.

The artistic approach involves mixing the common with the uncommon. In the case of the Stilllife series, he initially created a plaster sculpture that was rendered photographically to capture the element of emotion. The final digital derivation is Oliver’s version of what could be compared to the “directors cut“ of a movie production.
To create a sense of soul in what would otherwise be merely a “Stilllife-being“, traditional sculpture and digital eperimentation have been specially combined as the foundation for these works.
The original sculpture still exists and can be viewed as originally intended by the artist; appearing as if sleeping. The fascination most viewiers have with the sculpture, is that the realism is such that she appears as if she will open her eyes at any moment.
